They redid the wood in the downstairs foyer. Today they applied the finish. They put a lot of finish on that wood. A lot a lot of finish. I'm talking feed your head levels of finish here. The smell has wafted up our apartment stairs and filled the TV room.

Right now it feels like this in the TV room:



I think I'll take some vitamin C and go upstairs to lie down.

It's not at all better in my bedroom. And now I'm smelling the finish and looking at your crazy-ass image, so things are really going trippy for me. And I'm not sure Abbie is happy about the odor either. It might be cold out, but open windows, here we go!

Yeah, I was kinda worried about the cat. He stayed up in my room for most of the afternoon, so I'm hoping he isn't getting too much of it up his wee nose.

I also liked the note on the outside of the front door to USE BACK DOOR. I liked reading that note after I'd come out of the house. Via the front door. Hello.

Can you taste it as well? I don't notice the taste so much when I'm in the building but as soon as I get out to fresh air it's there. That tends to last for about 3-4 weeks after a floor is re-done.
