the best performance of my entire life.

Audience count tonight: 397. They listened and laughed when things were funny and hung on to the scary parts and very few people left during or in between acts. The Orpheum crew was great, the theater became beautiful, and even complete strangers laughed and applauded.
As
smacaski said, we won First Night. We totally won First Night.
More to come tomorrow when I'm A. awake, B. sober and C. able to get out of bed.
And I will not entertain thoughts on Arisia until about, oh, 7:30 pm.

Date: 2009-01-01 02:54 pm (UTC)...so, wait, does that mean that in the Red Shift universe, the earth has been destroyed by a giant heart, leaving Al Alberts and Penny Parker as the last humans alive? =:)

Date: 2009-01-02 03:46 am (UTC)A little while later I realized, uh, I'm kinda voicing two very similar characters. (Shift's Doc was based directly from CH's Doc, of course.) Thankfully the two had different names from the beginning, so I figured they were either twin brothers or clones.
And according to Sergeant Retcon, who's been here the entire time, the Earth in the Shiftiverse was indeed consumed by a giant chicken heart until a rift in time removed the Leon Alberts clone and prevented the chicken heart experiment from occurring, thus letting the Earth live on until at least the 6th serial.
