The cat it is wily
The cat it is large
The cat it is hungry and were it in charge
The bowl would be empty
The cat would be fed
The guy would be sleeping quite nice in his bed
But the bowl it is empty
The cat it is too
So let us then pose this conundrum to you
How can it be so
 (it's puzzling and strange)
That the bowl's never full but the cat's state can change?

When [livejournal.com profile] perich and I get our T-shirt business up and running, would you be amenable to this being on a T-shirt?

I'd buy it on a T-shirt.

'Tis quite the conundrum
Though I'd recommend
That next time you account for I/O at both ends.

Oh yes! I keep meaning to ask you how the booda dome is working out for his Absterieniciousness. I'm pondering getting one, and I want to make sure Miles can fit. And if Abbie can fit, little old ~16 pound Miles can fit. Comments?

Superb!

I'm glad you stopped by at my place today, otherwise I might have missed this poem. It's great!

By the way, I've been meaning for some time to tell you that I think anyone who uses a Jean Sheppard quote, along with a photo of Tom Lehrer, is godlike. You already know that, of course, but I feel better for having said it.

Dear Mr. Spatch and Mr. The Cat,

In my adventures on these here intarwebs, I have stumbled upon a web site what sells wigs for cats. No, really. http://kittywigs.com/

My question for you fine sirs is, WTF is up with that? Do gentlemen cats prefer blondes? Or pink-tressed beauties? Have these brazen hussies been causing problems in Cat Town??

Yours,
Curious in Iowa
