TRAPPED IN SCOREBOARD FACTORY, SEND HELP

This is the story.

1. An SA Forums goon posts a thread that says "Hey doods, I'm operating the scoreboard at a hockey game, what message should I sneak in around the third period?"


2. Many suggestions are made.


3. Goon goes with a very good choice indeed, a wise old chestnut.


4. Video is posted.


5. Thread goes to the Comedy Goldmine almost immediately thereafter.

And I'm still chuckling.

My suggestions, in case anybody was wondering (and since LJ is so me-intensive) were these:

CLAP YOUR HANDS IF YOU'VE CHEATED ON YOUR SPOUSE

and

MY OTHER SCOREBOARD IS A DISPLAYMASTER 5000

Both amusing, but I think the way the goon pulled off what he did use (with the blinking text and whatnot) really was perfect.

OK, so I went to divx.com and downloaded the player. It crashed, so I had to reboot my system, and as soon as I finally got the video to play, all I see is some green static. I don't get it...
