the mouse is dead.
Dec. 30th, 2003 07:55 pmThe same mouse I've been using for four years, a nice Microsoft Intellimouse optical thingamabobber, has finally given up the ghost. The soldering at the top of the mouse has worn away enough that the mouse often refused to move if jostled the wrong way, often freezing up the system too. But no. I prefer to drive things until they fully conk out because hey, it's still working some of the time, and that's what counts. Now I need a new mouse. Just one more thing that I had at the beginning of 2003 that I don't have anymore. This year has been the absolute worst.
I can't play any games and I can't even get to Trillian at the moment because it's stuck in the system tray and ctrl-alt-del just asks if I want to shut an application down. And I'm just really, really, really, really cranky at the moment. Good evening. God damn.
