The den is clean, the new desk is mostly assembled (IKEA is Swedish for "Yeah, that's gonna need a shim") and Elmer Gantry is on Turner Classic Movies this afternoon. Hooray for Burt Lancaster, Jean Simmons and Shirley Jones cast against type.

My day so far on the Ice Cube scale is at a decent 66% (the ham and cheese omelet scratches the "breakfast without hog" requirement, but I am not complaining) which means No AK Necessary! Hooray!

My last foray into Ikea furniture building was surprisingly successful. I bought us two bedside tables, and they were relatively easy to put together. But then again, they're pretty simple bedside tables.
