Red Dead Redemption is one hell of a game. The landscape looks like Frederic Remington was brought back to life and asked to do the art design. The sunsets in the game are probably the most beautiful I've ever seen in a video game.

The soundtrack is Morricone with maybe a bit of Nick Cave thrown in. And when I shot a guy off his horse, he screamed the Wilhelm Scream.

Absolutely brilliant.

Not to throw a wrench in the works, but that is the game which caused the spouses of the developers to decry the working conditions under which the developers were forced to work.
