You know you're having a good day outlining a full four-part serial when, at the end of the 'Possible Story Problems' section, you finish with this:

I did a lot of work on Red Shift today before allowing myself out to the Ego & The Oracle, but that's another entry for when I'm rested and slightly more sober. But for now, we sleep.
