Sep. 23rd, 2010 03:04 amI have played Civ 5 for far too long tonight. Once you actually get the damn thing to cooperate with your graphics card and DirectX setup, it's a lot of fun. And finally we get a Sid Meier Civ game that's hex-based. Oh, hexagons! Everywhere you look there's hexagons. And you can kick out of the 3D worldview and look at a simplified top-down board game interpretation of the map for MORE hexagon madness. Hell, you can play the game entirely in that mode if you want.
But it's gotten to me. I'm thinking hexagonally now. Can't stop seeing them. I close my eyes and a hex map appears before me. It's driving me crazy, it's driving me nuts. It is a sign you have played too much. It is a sign that I should stop and get myself a nice big delicious bowl of cere
