spatchOff now on a red-eye Northeast Regional to Washington DC, where tomorrow morning I'll pick up the Carolinian and take it all the way down to Burlington, NC. From there I'll meet up with Mom and Grandpa Bob, and we'll drive up to Gatlinburg to spend a week in the Smokies with the rest of the family.
From Raleigh I'll then take the Silver Star down to Tampa, spend another week with Mom, and maybe just get some roller coaster riding in. You never know. And there's some nice ones in Tampa and Orlando I have yet to meet. This is the longest vacation I've had in a long time, and I'm going to make the most of it. I'll still have email and phone and all that jazz, but don't go knockin in Davis expecting to see me around.
