The last episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 to ever air on "regular" television was shown today. This ends 14 years of a show that had been on four different channels and granted at least one big reprieve. Sure, there hadn't been any new episodes for years, but this was the last day reruns were scheduled on the Sci-Fi Channel. So it goes, but the spirit lives on in VHS and DVD and the Digital Archive Project.

Keep circulating the tapes.

I hope they had the grace to show the actual last episode.

There's something about Mike and the bots moving into a garden-level apartment in Wisconsin and watching bad movies on basic cable that neatly puts the bow on the whole series.

Jeezus Krist, woman. It's hardly a spoiler if the episode in question first aired YEARS ago.

I'll send you a copy of it. It's actually quite a good one.
