I got the Fuck You Flu and I intend to kick it in the ribs so hard it coughs blood.

I've gotta go buy more DayQuil. Time to sign the "I promise I will not use this to make meth" logbook at the pharmacy. I used up the whole package in two days. Kill me now.

Also, is "Your mom" supposed to be the "Priceless" punchline in a MasterCard ad?

They've taken the pseudoephedrine out of the DayQuil. Now it's got phenylephrine, which as far as we know can't be turned into candy or puppies or something.

And even though I had no products that contained pseudoephedrine in them, CVS wouldn't let me ring my purchases up at the self-serve checkout. I waited in two 10-minute lines because of this. Thanks, meth heads!

That sucks. I guess I've never trusted those self-checkouts anyway.

I was able to get the pseudoephedrine kind yesterday (some of the store brands still have it - I should have noted it was "Select Brand Daytime Cough & Cold"), but I had to sign a log book and will my worldly possessions to UNICEF. And if I want more today, same drill. Man, $2.39 for a 12-count, 6-dose box. You used to be able to get a box of 48 for $4.99, but that's too dangerous now or something. Who knows what you will do with it?! Maybe get a big cold and stay in the house all week instead of trudging out and infecting society!

CVS has self-checkouts? I've seen and used them at ~~Star~~ Shaw's but not at CVS.

I'm sorta-kinda part of Theatre@First, so I met him through doing shows with them. Does this mean you haven't hung out IRL? because he is all sorts of awesome.

Nope, I've never had the privilege of meeting Mr. Spatula live and in person. I have never actually been to Massachusetts, for what it's worth. We might be headed out there this summer, though, depending on money and if our friends are going to be home or out on their own vacation.

Rikki might come visit this summer (june, actually). We've been quiet about it because we have no idea if it'll happen. We'd need to raise some funds to get her here... sigh.

I know how that goes. I just took a trip to DC two weeks ago for a friend's wedding and it totally drained us between car repairs (just to get me to the freakin' airport) and travel expenses. My husband got overtime the weekend I was gone, though, so it'll help... but it would be nice if we'd have gotten paid this week instead of next!
