I think Boston is the most European of all American cities, especially around Beacon Hill (where these shots were taken) and the North End -- with the added bonus that you don't usually have to dodge dog droppings on the sidewalk.
The Falcon was adorable and if I could I would have given it a great big hug. The seats inside looked more comfortable than the bicycle seat, too, so I think it gets more use.
My eventual goal by the way is to be discovered by Lili Taylor and given a show at the Whitney, and I'm going to have some homeless friends crash the reception and then we'll have a big party at the local gay strip club and it'll be great. It'd also mean having to make out in a voting booth with Christina Ricci, but I think I'm willing to make the necessary sacrifices for my art.
The EXIF data sez it's an Audiovox CDM-8915VM. Virgin Mobile calls it the Snapper. I've really been surprised with what I've gotten out of this little thing. I was all set to buy a Canon Powershot S3 this spring, but realized I was actually having more fun working with the cameraphone's limitations, rather than using something that'd let me do whatever I wanted.
This is the Lomo craze I was mentioning. Really just a random-snapshots-as-art thing. But the embracing of suboptimal optics reminds me a bit of your shots, or what I like to to call the spatchs/cameraphone/movement.

Oh, wait. That was "Le Fairlane de Ford."
