It's so bizarre how Gmail can be useless for one person, and fine for another. I mean, it makes sense, presuming that accounts are distributed among various servers... but still.

I'd changed my password today, but logged out, cleared all cookies, and logged back in and it was working fine for quite some time. Then it just started spitting Error 766 and Error 767s at me.

However, they've got a service bulletin up mentioning they're aware of the problem and it's their "top priority" to work on it. Looks like it's affecting quite a lot of users.

Strangely, gmail always worked fine for me. And my techie manager has started using it to receive bug notifications from our Mercury Quality Center, since they come out easier to read than in our regular IMAP email.

Btw, I'm at jeff.rubinoff (funny sign plus gmail plus com) if you feel like adding me to chat list or anything...

It isn't often I have trouble with gmail, though it does get tiresome having every spam and automail treated as a "conversation." About 5 percent of my e-mail is actual conversations! Gmail, how 'bout instead I inform YOU when I'm saving an exchange as a "conversation?" Otherwise Gfuckoff.
