The final nails in the coffin
May. 14th, 2007 11:36 amNBC announced today it's cancelling Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I'm guessing the last few episodes will run at the end of this month.

Date: 2007-05-14 05:35 pm (UTC)The one funny moment I did enjoy was the by-the-numbers programmer encountering the office on fire, so to save himself he immediately sits down and fires off an email for help to the Facilities dept. That was geniunely funny. The over-crazy boss was funny at times, too. But overall, I felt as if it tried too hard and accomplished too little. It's a major feat to get a mainstream audience to like the arrogant IT guy who routinely signs "Did you try turning it off and on?" as the first answer to every question. I don't think they pulled that one off very well. Other IT folks may, but then again, they're the ones who probably still think the CD tray-cupholder story is a good one.
