NBC announced today it's cancelling Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I'm guessing the last few episodes will run at the end of this month.

It was a very flawed show, indeed, but it had its good moments.

ALL of 'em, Bobby. ALL of 'em.

They got the news early Friday that Crossing Jordan got the axe; the sets came down this morning.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that we can go into the CSI sets for our VIP visits. :V

Whoah what hang on are you serious? One of the three possibilities must be real, but which? (1) I'm very much mistaken and Slashdot is a laugh hoot riot on the first of April; (2) You maybe only saw the one episode of that show where whatserface was supposed to have PMS; or (3) having watched all six episodes, you genuinely did not think The IT Crowd was funny.

I can't imagine that 3 is actually the case. It baffles me! I am the world's least appreciative audience for nerd humour. I am a tough sell. I thought that show was legitimately hilarious. What's going on here?

Hm. I did forget about the head-pudding. Still I thought it took a bit of charm to sell "That bit on the floor there..." "The hard disk?" "Correct!" as being better than the usual cupholder type joke show. At least, they convinced me. At least, I remember liking Richard Ayoade's character a right some lot.

I don't know, I feel confused, I have to sit down.

I thought the pilot was okay as pilots go, and the fire episode was better than your average sitcom fare (I especially liked the screen-saver bit), but otherwise, meh.

I am sad not because the show was any good, but because I liked all the people on it being together in one thing.

Maybe they could get Sorkin to write a couple of episodes of Bionic Woman.

Or maybe Whedon.

Will Jaime Summers be a very small, physically powerful, but mentally screwed up girl/woman? If so, Whedon would be perfect.

I can't speak to size or mental fitness, but, dude, she's bionic! Of COURSE she's physically powerful!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Used to have the lunchbox in the '70s.

I loved Ms. Summers back when I was eleven. But I never got the impression she was either tiny or a headcase. After all, she was military and they have Rules about such things. :)

Wikipedia says she was a tennis player, so:

a. Her romance to Steve Austin was a sham, and
b. If she shared genetic material with John MacEnroe, she could be a head case.

Oh no! Where will I get my Liberalism 101 lessons now?? Where will I go to be reminded that people from fly-over country should not actually be put down, just because they haven't heard of CD players? I want my token Christian!
