WOMAN SPOUTS BABY

This was a five minute graphical jobberooni, at least, once the names were worked out. This was the only "classic" spider map I could find that was even remotely good-looking. And that was before I got to it.

Have you ever seen The Great Bear?

I'm already checking out names for stations on the "Inner Glee Extension"/"Nineteen Leering Sox": Quasar Bell, Lowest Teller, Germans Quail, and of course Shredded Milfoil (or is that Moldered Lid Fish?).

I'm guessing he was more inspired by this (a mirror, as the original link is sadly now dead due to lawyers)

I love it! I love it!

(Though to nitpick, A Muss is before the split on the Eel Rind, not on the Tampa Tan branch. Thanks for giving me the chance to say that.)

Seriously, Spatch. Marry me.

By the way, [livejournal.com profile] uridium on my flist works for the MBTA. I had to send him this. Maybe we can convince him to start replacing the existing maps...

Sack ski!

Though I am sorry there wasn't room on the map for the stops I used to use when I lived in Nob sot -- New Fay and Wool Dong.

This is hilarious!!

I'm having trouble deciphering "woman spouts baby," though. I can extract "subway" and "mbta" from it, but that leaves...spoon??

I figured out that printed liar stains=rapid transit lines, which keeps me from feeling like a TOTAL idiot, but...when someone tells me the answer, I'm sure I WILL feel like a total idiot.

Does it go something like this?

Let me tell you of the story of a man named H. Eclair
On a tragic and fateful day
He put ten cents in his pocket, kissed his wife and family
Went to ride on the MAT

But did he ever return? No, he never returned
And his fate is still unlearned
He may ride forever 'neath the streets of Nob Sot
He's the man who never returned.

H. Eclair handed in his dime at the Sell Quaker DNA station
And he changed for Mania Jail Cap
When he got there the conductor told him "One more nickel."
H. Eclair couldn't get off of that train!

[Chorus]

Now all night long H. Eclair rides through the station
Crying, "What will become of me?"
How can I afford to see my sister in Laces, Eh?
Or my cousin in Oxy Burr?

[Chorus]

H. Eclair's wife goes down to the Ace Rosy Squall station
Every day at quarter past two
And through the open window, she hands H. Eclair a sandwich
As the train goes rumbling through!

[Chorus]

Now you citizens of Nob Sot, don't you think it's a scandal
How the people have to pay and pay?
Fight the fare increase, vote for Eager Rib Goon
Get poor H. Eclair off the MAT

Or else he'll never return? No, he'll never return
And his fate is still unlearned
He may ride forever 'neath the streets of Nob Sot
He's the man who never returned. (It lure, cheat?)
